MAD HATTER'S
Concept redesign of a local tea & hookah bar menu, combining existing psychedelic themes and eclectic elements with refined typography.
THE ENVIRONMENT INSPIRATION
Immediately after first arriving at Mad Hatter's Tea and Hookah Bar I knew this was a very special place. The environment was welcoming and exploding with creativity, and the business itself was more like a community of loyal locals from all walks of life. They serve all sorts of exquisite beverages from around the world, and also host multiple themed events every week. Unfortunately, their menu did not match the rest of the hype. I felt compelled to redesign it as a personal project around the existing branding and themes I observed around me.

Besides being a simple menu like most food and service businesses, Mad Hatters also had to educate their clients on what each drink was, how to best consume it, and its history. This went hand in hand with their community-based approach to business and also allowed for a seamless way to incorporate Alice in Wonderland themes throughout.
